MC Timer

Function
This electronic defrost timer is a recycling timer providing direct control of both the cooling compressor and the defrost heater, accomplished at preset timed intervals. This control eliminates the need for separate relays or contactors. A user-accessible push-button switch is provided to initiate a manual defrost. An LED illuminates to indicate a defrost cycle is taking place.

Purpose
The control is used to provide an accurate method of defrosting refrigeration equipment. The control is ideal for commercial refrigeration applications where mounting space is limited.
