The First 50 Years

After an ambitious start in a California garage in 1955, Airotronics' founders would have much to celebrate after half a century. From the beginning, their goal was to meet purchasers’ mechanical requirements and exceed customers’ expectations. As the specialty electronics assembly operation grew, they moved the company to Central New York state, and named the business Airotronics.

Early products included flexible test connectors and electronic timers, and supported the success of several NASA programs and many emerging national industries. Value, service and continuing focus on innovative solutions brought steady growth, even during challenging times.

During 50th Anniversary festivities in 2005, Airotronics’ success was celebrated by current and former employees, as well as business and community representatives. All are especially proud of Airotronics’ ongoing commitment to high-quality American products.

Engineering and manufacturing take place at the Cazenovia, NY facility, where plant visits are encouraged.
